A three-panel, full color comic. In the first panel. Em sticks their head out from around the corner of a wall. They are dressed for the cold weather--scarf and large padded coat. "Hey, I'm home!" they shout, responded to by a "Hewwo!" from off-panel, in an odd-colored speech bubble. In the second panel, Em emerges more from around the corner. Their eyebrows lower in a concerned expression. "Um," they begin. In the third panel, we reveal Emily sitting on the couch, crouched over a tablet, working. However, she is rendered in blue sketch lines, unlike Em and the environment, which are in full color and polished. Em asks, "You...doin' ok?" to which Emily replies, in the same sketch speech bubbles as the first panel, "Yeah? Why?" Em chirps back "No reason it's fine don't worry about it," clearly not wanting to explain to their roommate the situation.
