Hot Vampire Summer

A four panel, full color comic. The first panel is flashy typography. The narration begins with "You've heard of Hot Girl Summer, now get ready for-" and leads into a large designed type piece that reads "Hot Vampire Summer!" with each word designed to its element: flames for "hot", red and black for "Vampire", neon for "Summer." It leads into the next panels with "featuring..." The second panel is labeled by the narration as "Avoiding Sunlight!" In it, Emily is under the sheets of a bed, hissing at the light that is starting to stream into the room through the window, the beams going right over her face. The third panel is labeled "A wardrobe that isn't fitting for the heat!" In it, Emily stands outside in a black turtleneck and long collared coat, clearly dripping with sweat. She yells "but 80 percent of my looks require a cool coat?!" The fourth panel is labeled "Multiple creatures who want my blood!" In it, Emily stands in front of a red background, back to the camera, a tank top on and a large bandage on her back: the latest bug bite she's gotten this season. She says "ok, so I'm not the vampire in this one," as she prepares to put anti-itch lotion on the bite. Quietly, she muses "man what bug even bit me this time?"
