Measured Improvement

A four panel, full color comic. In the first panel, Emily sits on the couch, idly drawing on a tablet that's sitting on her lap. She cheerfully observes, "It's wild to think about how insecure I was as an artist just a few years ago. I always wondered if I belonged in the room, and now that's barely even a question in my head! I really have grown and improved!" The second panel is preceded by text that reads "Later." In it, we see a zoomed in computer screen, showing an application form for a comics show. The section to describe yourself and your work is blank in the application, with the cursor hovering over it. In the third panel, Emily looks blankly at her screen. In the fourth panel, Emily lifts her head up and, staring into the middle distance, says "It's kind of comforting that I'm still bad at this part though."
