A full-color comic strip. In the first panel, Emily stomps down a sidewalk, moody and decked out with a heavy winter coat. The sign in the foreground suggests she's walking toward a hospital. There's a tiny dark cloud above her. In the second panel, Emily sits in a doctor's waiting room, arms crossed, the hood of her winter coat pulled down. The dark cloud above her grows in size, and the corners of the panel start darkening. In the third panel, Emily sits on a medical exam table, her winter coat now off, in a hoodie and jeans. The dark cloud above her takes up most of the panel, and the corners are becoming oppressive. In the fourth panel, the darkness suddenly disappates as Emily reacts to music coming from the doctor's office hallway. In the fifth panel, she leans back, satisfied as she recognizes the beat. In the background, the lyrics start "like the legend of the phoenix, all ends with beginnings, what keeps the planet spinnin-" as she thinks to herself "ah, yes. The song of the summer."
