Cue and Eey

A full color comic. In the first panel, Emily stands against a blue background. An off-panel narration begins, "Hey Emily! Why do you always accentuate dark circles under the eyes when you draw a character?" Emily chipperly replies, "oh, that's easy!" In the second panel, the background color has changed to green, and large black bars have emerged from the top and bottom to heighten the drama of the scene. Emily, with her eyes closed, slowly starts to take off her glasses. In the third panel, the background is now bright yellow, and Emily leans toward the camera, glasses in hand, dark circles now clearly visible under her eyes. Sparkles bloom in the background. "Art imitates life," Emily concludes, "Or something. I'm very tired."
